For rental car customers, please read this

Insurance Exemption Guarantee

About the customer's burden

Deductible compensation system (optional) 1 day: 3,000 yen

If you do not sign up for this system, you will be required to pay the maximum self-pay amount in the event of an accident (100,000 yen for property damage compensation and 100,000 yen for vehicle compensation). Additionally, during the repair period for the vehicle or interior accessories, you will be charged a vehicle downtime compensation fee equal to the fee multiplied by the number of days the vehicle is down for up to 24 hours.

*However, for damages up to 300,000 yen, insurance will not be used and you will be required to pay the actual cost.

If the vehicle is driven back to the scheduled sales office, 100,000 yen (tax included)
If the vehicle cannot be driven, 200,000 yen (tax included)

*Vehicle transportation costs (to our designated factory), including towing fees, will be borne by the customer.

*If the rental becomes impossible due to an accident or breakdown caused by the previous customer, the contract will be cancelled. Please note that we will not compensate for travel expenses etc.

Precautions

Cases in which the insurance compensation system cannot be applied


① If the prescribed procedures, such as contacting the police and our company, are not followed at the time of the accident.

Drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol

Drug use

◆ Driving by anyone other than the driver and co-driver specified in the contract

(This includes driving while your driver's license is suspended or if you are in violation of the type of vehicle you are permitted to drive.)

◆ If you settle without permission

◆ When used for various tests or competitions, or towing or pushing other vehicles.

◆Other accidents that fall under the disclaimers stipulated in the rental terms and conditions (rental terms and conditions), etc.


3. When the accident falls under the disclaimer clause of the insurance policy of the non-life insurance concluded by our company.

◆ Damage to the crane body of the crane vehicle (including outriggers)
Punctures and tire damage

◆Loss or damage to wheel caps

◆Lost keys◆Emergency flat tire repair kit fee

◆ Damage to property owned, used, or managed by the customer, etc.


④ When there is a fault in use or management. When the key is left in the car or the car is left unlocked and the car is stolen.

◆ Repair costs for damage or corrosion to the vehicle body caused by poor use

◆ Damage caused by improper installation of tire chains, carriers, or child seats

◆ Vehicle damage caused by driving off-road, such as on the coast, riverbanks, or in forests (accidents that occur off-controlled roads)

◆ Repair costs incurred due to incorrect fuel type when refueling

◆ Damage caused by the operation of cranes, aerial work platforms, etc. by persons other than qualified personnel

*For damages that are not covered by the compensation system above or that exceed the compensation limit, the customer will be responsible for the actual costs.
*In order to receive compensation for hit-and-run accidents by unknown parties, damage caused by car break-ins, and stones flying into the window, you must report the incident to the police.

Parking violation penalty fees

If a parking violation sticker is attached to your car

Please report to the police station in your jurisdiction as soon as possible and complete the required procedures.

Please complete payment of the fine at the designated financial institution.

When returning the vehicle, we will check the "traffic violation notice" and the "payment slip, receipt, etc." with the receipt date.

Please note that if you are unable to present the "Traffic Violation Notice" and "Payment Slip/Receipt, etc." (if we are unable to confirm payment of the fine), you will be required to pay the penalty of 30,000 yen as shown below.

*If you pay the fine at a later date and present the "Traffic Violation Notice" and "Payment Slip/Receipt," the penalty will be refunded. The refund will be transferred to a designated account, and the customer will be responsible for any bank transfer fees. *If we are unable to confirm payment of the fine or if the penalty is not paid, this will be registered in the system of the National Rent-A-Car Association, and rental car companies affiliated with this association may refuse to allow the customer to rent a car in the future. Please note that smoking is prohibited in all of our vehicles, and pets (excluding guide dogs and service dogs) are not allowed in the vehicles.

Important points to note when using the service

About using car navigation systems

Please use the route set by your car navigation system as a reference only. We cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by discrepancies in the scheduled time, etc.

Fastening rear seat belts

Please make sure all passengers, including those in the back seat, wear seat belts.

Important points to note when returning the vehicle

About fuel

Please return the car with a full tank of gasoline (or diesel). If you are unable to return the car with a full tank, we will charge you based on the distance traveled. Please note that in this case, the amount will be higher than the actual amount of fuel.

Return time

If you change your planned return time or cannot make it in time, please contact us.

Regarding reservation cancellations

If you cancel your reservation for any reason, a cancellation fee will be charged.
If we do not hear from you within one hour of the rental start date and time, we will consider the rental to be canceled.
*This does not apply if you are unable to contact us due to being on the move and not having a signal.
31 days or more in advance: 10,000 yen (excluding tax)
30 days before to the day before: 70%
On the day: 100%
■ Cancellation due to bad weather: Please consult with us. Priority: 1) Change to another flight, 2) Change of schedule (same day transfer), 3) 50% cancellation fee
■Changes to reservation date and time: Changes can be made free of charge up to 31 days or more in advance.
■Cancellation midway: Generally not permitted ■Rental extension: If you wish to extend the rental period, please contact us in advance. An additional fee will be charged according to the rental fee schedule.
■Pet fee: 5,000 yen per pet per day. *When returning the car, please clean it using the cleaning tools provided.
